Matías Sánchez is a Andalusian-born artist born 1972. Lives and works in Seville, Spain. Matías Sánchez’s heavily textured canvas features a grotesquely caricatured grinning figure, bizarre yet whimsically delightful. In the past years he has participated in many important international fairs. His works are in both private and public collections such as the Art Museum of the University of Southern California.
