Born in Shanghai, China. Dai’s works reveal an unique characteristic in which we see the bold use of color and lines that she creates on the canvas. She choses the heavy impasto and unlimited themes to capture any “face” that we see in the real life, to reflect her own nature; and the faces she created stand in the between of abstract and concrete are forming an atmosphere of contemporary. Dai did not follow the path of expressionism, on the contrary, she freely constructures any “face” with her own artistic language.
