Born in 1965 in the Southern city of Taiwan, Kaohsiung, LEE Chun-Yi moved to Hong Kong in 1970. He finished his educations first from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and received his M.F.A. degree from the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tunghai University of Taiwan He completed a doctorate degree in Chinese Art History at Arizona State University, USA. After working in Phoenix Art Museum in Arizona as a postdoctoral researcher, in Chinese painting realm, he moved to Taiwan and teaches in National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei. His works are in permanent collection of National Taiwan Arts Education Center, Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archeology University of Oxford, Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, Arthur M.
