Born in Yilan, Taiwan, Lin received BA degree of Fine Arts from Chinese Culture University, Taiwan in 1987. In 1997, he received MA degree of Visual Arts from Goldsmiths College, University of London, UK. His philosophical expression leads to a poetic simplicity in his art creation.
