PAN Dingding 潘丁丁

Born in Beijing. Pan has an original family home at Nanhai of Canton. He was graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Xian Fine Arts College in 1960. Then he entered Central Academy of Fine Arts to study engraving. Since 1960, Pan's work was shown several times at national fine arts exhibition in China. He also held solo exhibitions in Taipei and Osaka. Currently he is a first-grade painter in Xinjiang Art Academy and member of the Chinese Artists Association. Pan was good at depicting scenery of the Westernmost China. His pastels scenery has a dreamy quality and looks like a wonderland. His painting Visiting Relatives by Marriage was selected at the 6th National Fine Arts Exhibition in 1984 and then the Beauty of Silk Road was shown at the 1986 Xinjiang Art Academy exhibition. His publications include Line Drawing of Qiuci Frescos and Silk Road Landscapes Sketch.
