Tu Tsan-Ling is a prominent painter known for his expertise in bird-and-flower, animal, and landscape painting. He graduated from the National Taiwan Academy of Arts and later studied at Chinese Culture University under Chuan Chuan-Fu and Ou Haonian. During his student years, he won first place in the Provincial Student Art Exhibition. He was awarded the Zhongshan Literary Award in 1984 and the Wu Sanlian Art Award in 1985.
