Szabolcs Bozó was born in 1992 in Pécs, Hungary, and now lives and works in London. Childhood memories and past experiences are key to Bozó’s art. His favorite Hungarian animation and children’s books were full of local folklore, mythology and dark humor. Seek the aesthetics of images made by, or for, children. Baby ducks, bears, dinosaurs and other unclassified creatures smile, wiggle and dance through the paintings. To create these charming works, the artist rolls his canvases out on the floor, filling in the figures with loose strokes as if the surface were a giant coloring book. His works have been exhibited in Paris, Madrid, London and Shanghai.
