CHU Jiu-ying 朱玖瑩
Taiwanese 1898-1996

Born in Hunan, China, he was a prominent political figure and calligrapher in the Republic of China. He took up important roles in the political sector, including the chief secretary at the Department of Land Administration. He followed Tan Yan-chan in calligraphy practice and excelled in the Yan school of regular script. He received national award to recognize his contribution in calligraphy.
