Born in Changhua, Taiwan. Lin Liang-tsai graduated from the Fine Arts Department of National Taiwan Academy of Arts. He entered the Fine Arts Department of the Royal Academy of Arts in Brussels in 1984 and transferred to the Sculpture Department the following year. After his graduation, he obtained the Professional Artist Award and the Award of Royal Academy of Arts. Currently he is one of a small number of Taiwan artists who specialize in metal sculptures. His artworks are found in the collection of Brussels Royal Academy of Arts and Brussels Fine Arts Museum.
