Pan Hsin-Hua was born in Taitung and is regarded as a contemporary ink artist. His passion for carpentry was closely linked with his carpenter father. Since high school, Pan took lessons of ink painting and developed a solid foundation in paintings. Later he studied at the Faculty of Art of the National Taiwan University of Arts. In his paintings, surreal representation was used along with a revolutionary structure that is different from the traditional composition. While appreciating the the work, the audience is led through surreal subjects. Throughout his career, he received awards from the Asian Cultural Council and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
