Sheng Qi was born in Hefei, China and graduated from the Central Academy of Art and Design, Beijing, in 1988. From 1989 to 1992, he was lived and worked in Italy. In 1998, he received MFA from Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design London. He currently lives and works as a professional artist in Beijing.
