+ OVERVIEW
Thierry Feuz was born in Switzerland in 1968 and graduated with a master's degree from the University of Art and Design in Geneva. Exploring the core of his creative work, it is a fusion of art, science, and religious philosophy. He is passionate about exploring the meaning of "existence" in the universal world of humanity and uses his unique painting techniques to present previously unseen spiritual realms. The reference to "Atlas" originates from the Greek mythology of the Titan who held up the heavens, and today, it refers to a mountain range located in the northwest of Africa, spanning three countries: Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. On the other hand, "Seraphim" comes from the Old Testament and represents a six-winged, fiery angel symbolizing the divine and boundless love. Within the gracefully curled petals and microorganisms depicted in the artwork, beneath their exquisite beauty, there is a hidden metaphor for the fragility of life, which can easily vanish in an instant. Feuz's work transcends cultural and abstract boundaries, creating fictional landscapes, rich colors, and the rhythms of life. Through painting, he explores the meaning of life and human existence in a timeless space without boundaries or defined domains, where the significance of death and life will forever coexist.
