Laura Berger is an artist living and working in Chicago. She received her BFA from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2002, majoring in performance and minor in design. Berger's work centered around themes of interdependence and self-understanding, her images focus on figurative archetypes, intuitive color palettes and dreamlike minimalistic environments. Pathways are charted in each of the compositions through intimate gestures that transfer energy and emotions of the gathered figures, light and shadow. Berger has shown her artwork across the US and abroad., with exhibitions in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Chile, and New Zealand.
